The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to financial disclosure documents issued by the US Government Ethics Office, US President Trump carried out more than 1,000 securities transactions in June, including massive purchases of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B.US), Visa (V.US), Mastercard (MA.US), Palantir (PLTR.US), and CTAS.US (CTAS.US).

The total value of these transactions ranged from $78.1 million to $263.1 million. The declaration file shows only one range for each transaction, rather than an exact number.

Notable transaction details

The biggest deal took place on June 22, when Trump sold the $5 million to $25 million Pioneer Dividend Value-Added Index Fund ETF (VIG).

Trump's operations at Berkshire Hathaway included buying $1 million to $5 million on June 18, followed by a smaller sale on June 24.

He is particularly active in trading on Palantir: he bought shares of the software company for 1001 to 15,000 US dollars on June 3, then sold 1,501 to 50,000 US dollars on June 16, then sold 500,000 to 1 million US dollars on June 18. He bought the stock again on June 23 and June 24 after the US and Iran reached a peace agreement on June 14.

Meta also saw a similar back-and-forth operation — Trump sold $1 million to $5 million on June 18 and made smaller purchases later that month.

Other companies involved in the deal include Coinbase (COIN.US) and Home Depot (HD.US).

Independent management structure

The White House insists there is no conflict of interest because Trump's investments are managed by an independent agency. Trump's executive vice president and Trump's son Eric said these assets have been managed in blind trusts (blind trusts).

White House spokesman Davis Ingle said, “All positions are maintained in a discretionary account, and investments are made through a computer-based Portfolio to automatically copy recognized indices such as the Schwab 1000 Index (Schwab 1000).” “President Trump and any member of his family have no right to guide, influence, or provide advice on how to allocate the portfolio and when to buy and sell the investment. All investment decisions are made entirely by independent managers.”

Trump carried out more than 21,000 securities transactions in 2025, often at an explosive pace associated with market events he himself triggered. The total value of these transactions in the year ranged from 600 million to 1.86 billion US dollars. Occasionally, the same securities were traded simultaneously on the same day.
