At the meeting, Chen, a sales staff member of the company, shared his experience of using “Tianmei Xanjing Protein Peptide” to cure “Hepatitis B Xiaosanyang, Dasanyang, and liver cirrhosis” as a recommendation and proof. At the same time, the company recorded the launch session as a video and stored it on the Xiaoyetong platform account, and then sent a link address to members who were unable to visit the site to watch it for free. After investigation, the product involved in the case was an ordinary prepackaged food, which did not have the effects of preventing and treating the above diseases. The act violated relevant regulations and constituted an illegal act of false commercial promotion of the product's function. The Market Supervision Bureau of Longquanyi District of Chengdu City ordered them to stop their illegal acts and punish them in accordance with Section 25 (1) of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law.
