The reporter learned from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hydrology Center that from 8:00 a.m. on August 23 to 8:00 p.m. on the 24th, moderate to heavy rain fell in parts of the cities of Wuzhou, Fangchenggang, Chongzuo, Guigang, Nanning, and Yulin, and some torrential rain to heavy rain. Affected by upstream incoming water and heavy rainfall in the region, flooding of 0.07 meters to 6.96 meters above the warning occurred at 20 stations in 15 rivers, including the Zuojiang River and tributaries Heishui River, Pingxiang River, Mingjiang River and tributaries Gonggang River, Pailian River, Sizhou River, Pinger River, and Beilun River. The Autonomous Region Hydrology Center continued to issue a red flood warning at 8 o'clock on August 24, requesting relevant units and the public in the riverside areas of Chongzuo, Nanning and Guigang cities to step up precautions and take immediate refuge.
