The Zhitong Finance App learned that Daikin Heavy Industries (01081) fell by more than 10% after the results. As of press release, it had a decrease of 10.19% to HK$29.44, with a turnover of HK$47,321 million.

According to the news, Daikin Heavy Industries announced its 2026 interim results, with operating revenue of about 3.253 billion yuan, up 14.48% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 601 million yuan, up 9.89% year on year. However, looking at the second quarter alone, the company achieved revenue of 1.35 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 20.9%; net profit to mother was 170 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 47.4%, and a year-on-month decrease of 61.8%.

Guojin Securities pointed out that the company's revenue and profit in the second quarter were mainly affected by: 1) delays in the pace of shipping caused some marine products to be received in the first half of the year; 2) the appreciation of RMB in Q2 caused certain exchange losses. The BCWind and NSCB projects to be delivered by the company in the second half of the year have all entered the normal production and shipment stage, and the delivery pace is expected to return to normal levels in the second half of the year.
