11:54 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Metzler Capital Markets updated its price target and forecasts for GEA Group (G1A.F), taking into account the company's broad-based growth in the first half and its ability to deliver higher order intake and sales against a challenging economic backdrop. "Our new 2026e forecasts for organic sales growth and adj. EBITDA margin are at the upper end of the company's guidance ranges. Although the positive order intake, revenue and margin trends are already partly reflected in the share price, and further positive earnings surprises are becoming less likely in the short-term, we believe the stock still offers upside potential if GEA consistently delivers on the expected improvements," analysts said Friday. The research firm raised the price target to 74 euros from 72 euros, as sales, EBIT and EPS estimates for 2026 were increased by 1.2%, 3.1% and 1.7%, respectively. For 2027 and 2028, the projections for all three metrics were also upwardly revised. The buy recommendation on the German food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries systems supplier's stock was retained.
