The Zhitong Finance App learned that, according to media reports, Chery Auto (09973) has been actively developing the robotics business in recent years. Its Mojiao Robotics is preparing an initial public offering (IPO), hoping to raise funds for future technology research and development and business expansion through listing. Zhang Guibing, president of Chery's international business and general manager of Mojiao Robotics, said that negotiations are ongoing on a potential listing location, but he declined to disclose details such as the schedule or location of the potential listing.
Zhang Guibing said that relevant preparations are currently under way and discussions are being held with several IPO sites. The listing can not only provide financial support for future technology investments, but also help improve the level of corporate governance, transparency, and operating standards.
He added that Mojiao is preparing to drastically increase the delivery volume of humanoid robots next year, increasing the global delivery volume to 10,000 units, and striving to enter the first tier of the global robot industry.
The Ingot Robot was incubated and founded by Chery Motors in January 2025. The company focuses on the development and sale of artificial intelligent products such as humanoid robots and robot dogs. The products have delivered more than 3,000 robots worldwide, of which 2,000 have been sold overseas, and its business covers more than 60 countries and regions.
The biped humanoid robot initially developed by Incobot is mainly deployed at Chery dealer stores, and has now begun to enter more public service scenarios. This year, Incobot launched humanoid policing robots. Currently, 110 units have been put into use in many cities in China to assist in traffic management, crowd guidance, and public safety publicity.
