The Henan Provincial Bureau of Statistics and the Henan Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics announced the economic performance of Henan Province from January to July 2026. From January to July, the value added of industries above the scale of the province increased 7.5% year-on-year. Looking at the three major categories, the value added of the mining industry increased by 3.9%, the manufacturing industry grew by 9.3%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water decreased by 1.6% year on year. By product, production of products such as lithium-ion batteries, new energy vehicles, service robots, and electronic components increased by 101.3%, 32.9%, 13.6%, and 11.8%, respectively. The value added of high-tech manufacturing and strategic industrial emerging industries increased by 26.1% and 12.6% respectively, contributing 38.3% and 40.7% respectively to the province's regulated industrial growth. The value added of leading industries increased by 11.5%. Among them, the value added of the electronic information industry and the automobile and parts industry increased by 28.0% and 11.2% respectively. In July, the value added of large-scale industries increased by 6.8%.
