According to the “Qingdao Release,” the Hangzhou-Qingdao-Vancouver route operated by Capital Airlines will resume service on October 2, once every Friday. The aircraft is an Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft, which is now publicly sold on various platforms. This is yet another China-Canada route to be restarted after Transport Canada announced a drastic increase in the quota for direct flights between China and Canada in April this year. After the resumption of flights, the route will become the only direct passenger route in Shandong Province to North America. From January to July this year, the number of international and regional passengers at Qingdao Airport reached 2.1 million, an increase of 12% over the previous year, ranking the 10th largest airport in the country.
