The reporter learned today that the General Administration of Market Regulation, in conjunction with the Ministry of Housing, Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is gradually including 72 products in 6 categories, such as building doors and windows, ready-mixed concrete, and stone, in the scope of green building materials certification, implementing quality control covering the entire life cycle of raw materials mining, manufacturing, use and circulation to recycling and disposal, building a strong line of quality and safety of building materials from the source to enhance the green and low-carbon nature of products. By the end of June 2026, the number of green building materials certified enterprises nationwide reached 5,725, with 1,094 valid certificates, driving the country's green building materials revenue of nearly 130 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10% over the same period last year. It is estimated that by the end of 2026, the country's green building materials revenue scale will exceed 300 billion yuan, and the quality and efficiency of industrial development will steadily improve.
