Jiami Technology (08198)'s net loss for the first half of the year is not less than HK$54 million

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jiami Technology (08198) announced that the Group is expected to make a net loss of no less than HK$54 million (subject to certain valuations) for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, while the net loss for the six-month period ending June 30, 2025 is approximately HK$33 million. The sharp increase in net loss is mainly due to: (i) the reduction in gross profit due to the amortization of new intangible assets from on-chain data analysis platforms and reduced electricity consumption in US data centers; (ii) significant increases in expenses for analytical platforms and new operating operations of exchanges and OTC services, mainly including subscription fees, maintenance, technical support and staff costs; (iii) increased administrative and other operating expenses, mainly including employee costs and employee benefits, rental expenses, and due diligence consulting and professional fees for Web3.0 related projects.
