Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, in conjunction with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuratorate issued the “Notice on Further Strengthening the Prevention of Industrial Sewage Pollution Risks and Safeguarding the Safety of Agricultural Irrigation Water”. The “Notice” clearly states that in areas such as territorial spatial planning and control, ecological environment zoning control, and environmental impact assessment of construction projects, it further regulates entry requirements for high-risk areas such as farmland periphery and karst landforms, and construction projects that emit characteristic pollutants such as total salt content, heavy metals, toxic and harmful pollutants, etc., to strictly prevent environmental risks caused by the transfer of chemical parks.
