While an Atlantic hurricane can sometimes influence commodity markets, such as crude oil, natural gas, and cotton. Of course, it could have a multi-billion dollar effect on the US economy, as well. In the video (above), I discuss the teleconnections (such as El Niño and rising Global Atmospheric Angular Momentum) that may well prevent any major impact on the US this coming autumn. In addition, I briefly mention the 2006 analog and its potential impact on specific agricultural futures markets.
