Crunchfish Receives Notice of Allowance for Anti-Fraud Technology Patent in US

The Swedish offline payments group said the invention uses a verification process between an application and a backend resource to prevent fraudulent use of cloned instances from accessing protected functions and data, according to a Friday notice. The company noted that the invention can prevent double-spending using cloned digital wallets. The invention was previously granted a patent in Sweden and received a decision to grant from the European Patent Office.
