According to the Zhitong Finance App, Huicai Holdings (01180) announced that the Group expects to record a loss of HK$82.6 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 (reporting period), while profit of HK$178 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025 (prior period) was HK$178 million (including profit from continuing operations and HK$149 million from discontinued operations, respectively).
According to the information currently obtained, the Board of Directors believes that the shift from profit in the previous period to loss in the reporting period is mainly due to (i) as disclosed in the Company's announcement dated November 26, 2025, the relevant service agreement for the Group to provide casino management services in Macau expired on December 2, 2025 and was not renewed and terminated. Therefore, the Group did not confirm any revenue from the business providing casino management services in Macau during the reporting period, and (ii) the Group confirmed revenue of HK$383 million from this business in the previous period; and (ii) the Group confirmed revenue of HK$383 million in sales and/or electronic rental entertainment during the reporting period; and (ii) the Group confirmed revenue of HK$383 million in sales and/or electronic rental entertainment during the reporting period; and (ii) the Group confirmed revenue of HK$383 million from this business during the reporting period; and (ii) the Group confirmed revenue of HK$383 million in sales and/or electronic rental entertainment during the reporting period; and (ii) the Group confirmed revenue of HK$383 million in sales and/or electronic rental entertainment during the reporting period; and (ii) the Group Revenue from equipment and systems decreased by HK$93.1 million or 74.2% compared to the previous period, particularly in terms of sales of live streaming hybrid game console (live streaming hybrid game console) terminals and systems in Macau. The Company believes that customers may choose to postpone the purchase in anticipation of the launch of a new version of the live streaming hybrid game console, which led to a decrease in sales of existing live streaming hybrid game console platforms during the reporting period.
