Lyon: NetEase - S (09999) game business performance is steady, revenue is expected to rise 6.5% in the second quarter

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Lyon released a research report saying that the NetEase S (09999) game business maintained stable performance in the second quarter. The expected total revenue and adjusted profit before interest and tax increased 6.5% and 17.4% year-on-year, respectively, to 29.7 billion yuan and 11.7 billion yuan.

According to the report, “Journey to the West”, “Egg Boy Party”, “The Sixteen Voices of Yan Yun” and “Diablo IV” performed strongly, which is expected to drive NetEase's next season's game revenue to increase 7.7% year over year. The new flagship game “Sea of Oblivion” was launched in July. Lyon also pointed out that NetEase still has 18 approved games in preparation. In addition, the base for the first half of the year is relatively easy to handle, and game growth is expected to improve in the second half of the year.
