The “China Green Fuel Development Report” was released recently. The report shows that biomass energy has become an important cornerstone of China's green fuel system. From waste incineration for power generation and heating to the transformation of waste oil into aviation fuel, urban and rural waste is being continuously converted into green energy. According to statistics, in 2025, the country's total installed capacity of biomass power generation will reach 47.43 million kilowatts, the annual biomass heat supply will be about 520 million gigajoules, biogas production will be about 550 million cubic meters, and the bio-liquid fuel production capacity will reach 7.3 million tons of oil equivalent. The report points out that China's biomass-based aviation fuel and liquid fuel production capacity for vehicles has reached the top of the world; relying on urban and rural “biomass minerals” such as agricultural and forestry waste, kitchen waste oil, straw, etc., the industrial chain is opening up a full chain of collection, storage, manufacturing, and terminal applications. The products cover a wide range of difficult emission reduction fields such as transportation, aviation, heating, industrial kilns, etc., to effectively fill energy gaps that are difficult to cover from new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaics.
