In order to implement the “Pilot Plan for Deepening Medical Service Price Reform” and promote the preparation of national medical service price project standards, according to the “mature batch, release one batch” work idea, the National Health Insurance Administration recently prepared and issued the “Laboratory Medical Service Price Project Establishment Guidelines” and its mapping relationship table, integrating the existing price project specifications into 662 main projects, 114 additional items, and 7 extension items. In the next step, the National Health Insurance Administration will guide the provincial health insurance bureaus to refer to the “Guidelines for Establishing Price Projects for Laboratory Medical Services” to formulate a unified price benchmark for the whole province. Coordinating regions with price management authority will compare the provincial price standards and fluctuate up and down to determine the actual price level to be implemented.
