UK Trade Deficit Expands in Quarter to June

02:24 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Britain's goods and services trade deficit grew by 300 million pounds sterling to 8 billion pounds in the three months to June, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday. The UK's goods trade deficit rose by 1.2 billion pounds to 60.7 billion pounds, while the services trade surplus increased by 900 million pounds to 52.7 billion pounds.
