According to Changfei Optical Fiber, recently, the winning bid results for the “2026 China Telecom Guangdong Company Air Core Optical Cable and G.654.E Optical Cable Frame Procurement Project” were officially announced, and Changfei Optical won 100% of the bid with a price of 159 million yuan. This collection is currently the largest single air core optical cable procurement project in China. The calibration results indicate that the air core optical fiber technology has moved from pilot verification to large-scale commercial stage.
