Dubai's Dewa Logs Higher H1 Attributable Profit, Revenue

07:02 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DFM:DEWA), d/b/a Dewa, said Wednesday that attributable profit and revenue for the first half rose year over year. Profit attributable to owners of the company for the six months ended June 30 was 3.19 billion Emirati dirhams, compared with 2.76 billion dirhams earlier. EPS moved to 0.064 dirham from 0.055 dirham. The Dubai-listed electricity and water services company's revenue was 14.86 billion dirhams, compared with 14.60 billion dirhams a year ago. Dewa expects to distribute a dividend of 3.1 billion dirhams for the first half in late October 2026, subject to requisite approvals. The company noted that it expects to pay a minimum annual dividend of 6.2 billion dirhams in the first five years starting October 2022.
