So far, through the implementation of unified water volume scheduling in the Yellow River, the Yellow River has been continuously flowing for 27 consecutive years since 1999, and has continued to secure water supply safety, food security, ecological safety, and water conservancy guarantees. From 2025 to 2026, the main intake areas in the Yellow River Basin totaled 48.924 billion cubic meters of incoming water, which is 7% more than the multi-year average.
