According to Zhitong Finance App, Titanium Energy Chemical (002145.SZ) issued an announcement. The company held the 14th (temporary) meeting of the 8th board of directors on August 11, 2026 to review and pass the “Proposal on Capital Increase for the Holding Subsidiary and Investment in the Construction of 400,000 Tons of Titanium Dioxide and 1.4 Million Tons of Ferrous Heptahydrate Project”, agreeing to increase the company's capital of the holding subsidiary Zhonghe Phosphate by RMB 260 million, and to build a project with an annual output of 400,000 tons of titanium dioxide and 1.4 million tons of ferrous heptahydrate sulfate. The estimated investment amount for the project is 5,538 billion yuan.

The project is an important part of the “phosphorus-sulfur-titanium-iron-lithium-fluorine” cycle coupling project built by the company in collaboration with Phosphide Wanrun. This foreign investment helps the company continue to anchor the strategic plan for green coupling and circular development of the three main businesses of “titanium chemicals”, “phosphorous chemicals” and “new energy materials”, and build an integrated and high-end industrial chain layout of “resource-precursor-cathode materials” to create a leading industrial chain synergy advantage in the industry and inject strong impetus into the continuous and stable development of the company's new energy materials business.
