In the second quarter of this year, the Swiss central bank's foreign exchange reserves in the form of US shares increased by more than 10% and reached the highest level in history. According to the so-called 13F declaration submitted by the Swiss Central Bank to the US Securities and Exchange Commission announced on Tuesday, as of June 30, the bank's holdings in more than 2,300 US listed companies were worth 191.4 billion US dollars. The SNB holds slightly more than a quarter of its foreign exchange reserves in the form of shares, some of which are invested in shares listed in the US. The top three holdings are Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft. The central bank also holds shares worth US$716.6 million in defense software company Palantir Technologies Inc.
