China Construction Bank (00939) completed redemption of 2021 domestic secondary capital bonds (first instalment) (Type 1)

According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Construction Bank (00939) issued an announcement. In August 2021, the bank issued RMB 80 billion of second-tier capital bonds in the national interbank bond market, including two types. Among them, Class 1 bonds (current bonds) are 10-year fixed interest rate bonds with conditional issuer redemption rights at the end of the 5th year, with an issuance scale of RMB 65 billion. As of the date of this announcement, the bank has exercised the right of redemption and has redeemed the current bond in full.
