Recently, the National Data Standardization Technical Committee has received many reports that some units or individuals have fraudulently used the name of the National Digital Standards Commission to charge enterprises improper fees such as so-called “national data standard preparation fees,” “standard registration fees,” or “standard participation fees.” Such acts seriously disrupt the work order of the national standard system revision process and damage the reputation and legitimate rights and interests of the National Digital Standards Commission. To this end, the Secretariat of the National Numerical Standards Commission solemnly states the following: The National Commission for Digital Standards has never, and will never, directly charge any enterprise, institution, social organization, or individual under any improper name such as “standard registration,” “registration of participation in the publication of a standard,” or “establishment of a standard project.” At the same time, it is clear that the lead unit of the standard must not charge fees to the participating units in violation of regulations during the standard development stage. The National Numerical Standards Commission carries out the preparation and revision of national standards in the field of data, strictly complies with the “Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China” and the relevant regulations of the National Standardization Administration Commission and the National Commission for Digital Standards, and adheres to the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality. If any organization or individual receives a notice or invitation for cooperation such as “paid participation” or “paid registration” issued in the name of the National Digital Standards Commission, please be alert, don't take it lightly, and beware of being deceived. These acts are all acts of fraud or illegal profit planned by the lawbreakers themselves, and have nothing to do with the National Digital Standards Commission. All sectors of society are invited to actively monitor reports. If you discover the fraudulent use of the name or illegal charges mentioned above, please promptly keep the relevant evidence, contact the National Digital Standards Commission Secretariat for verification, and work with the National Digital Standards Commission Secretariat to deal with it in accordance with the regulations. Our unit reserves the right to pursue legal liability against any agency or individual fraudulently using the name of the National Digital Standards Commission to carry out illegal activities in accordance with the law. We will report to law enforcement authorities such as the State Administration of Market Supervision and Public Security as appropriate to crack down on such illegal acts and safeguard the seriousness of national standards and the legitimate rights and interests of the National Digital Standards Commission.
