Wantai Biotech (603392.SH) subsidiary's nine-valent HPV vaccine obtained marketing approval in Thailand

Recently, the nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine (Escherichia coli) (“nine-valent HPV vaccine”) independently developed by Xiamen Wantai Canghai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (“Wantai Canghai”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, was approved by the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand. The nine-valent HPV vaccine is a preventive biological product independently developed by Wan Tai Canghai. It has obtained a drug registration certificate issued by the State Drug Administration in 2025. It is the first nine-valent HPV vaccine in China and the second nine-valent HPV vaccine in the world. It is mainly suitable for women aged 9-45, covering the seven high-risk types of HPV16/18/31/45/52/58 and the two low-risk types of HPV6/11, which can prevent diseases related to other papillomavirus infections described above.
