Wantai Biotech announced that the nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine independently developed by Xiamen Wantai Canghai Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, was approved by the Thai Food and Drug Administration, making it the first overseas marketing license for this product. The vaccine obtained a drug registration certificate issued by the State Drug Administration in 2025. It is the first nine-valent HPV vaccine in China and the second nine-valent HPV vaccine in the world. It is suitable for women aged 9-45, covering seven high-risk types of HPV 16/18/31/33/45/52/58 and two low-risk types of HPV6/11.
