At 20:00 on August 10, foreign trade and shipping operations at Zhoushan Port in Ningbo resumed in an orderly manner as the first large container ship, the “Chengda” ship, smoothly entered the port area and slowly docked at berth No. 2 of Beilun Second Container Terminal. The total length of the “Chengda” ship is 255 meters. During this berthing period, it is expected that the ship will complete the loading and unloading of 2,232 TEUs at Zhoushan Port in Ningbo. In order to ensure the safe operation of the first large ship after the typhoon, Ningbo maritime law enforcement officers promptly broadcast port navigation information to the ship, issue safety reminders, dynamically monitor changes in the surrounding navigation environment and water flow, and escort the ship throughout the process.
