Ramsdens Shareholders Approve Acquisition by FirstCash

12:27 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ramsdens Holdings (RFX.L) shareholders approved the company's acquisition by international pawnbroking operator FirstCash's Chess Bidco unit. The required majority of the UK pawnshop chain's shareholders voted in support of resolutions related to the transaction during the court and general meeting on Monday, according to a same-day release. Completion of the transaction is expected in the second half, subject to the satisfaction of the remaining preceding conditions.
