12:20 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fermi (FRMI.L), d/b/a Fermi America, said Monday it entered a binding customer lease agreement with artificial intelligence cloud provider TensorWave for a data center facility in the US state of Texas. Through its Fermi Campus 1 subsidiary, the electric grid company is leasing to TensorWave TEX1 a facility at its Project Matador campus in Carson County. Power delivery commitment under the deal is 222 megawatts upon final delivery, with the first phase of delivery expected to start in the second half of 2027. The lease is subject to customary closing conditions and expected to generate $6.5 billion in contracted revenue within the initial 15-year term. It comes with options for two five-year renewals and expansion to two more data centers that would increase the total contracted power delivery to 650 megawatts.
