On August 10, the State Defense General Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management continued to organize joint meetings with the China Meteorological Administration, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Housing, Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Transport and other departments, as well as Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Jiangxi and other key provinces to investigate typhoon “White Dolphin” and recent trends of heavy rainfall, and deploy prevention and response work. The State General Administration of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Management maintained a three-level emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention in Zhejiang, and a four-level emergency response for flood control and typhoon prevention in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Jiangxi, and dispatched 2 additional working groups to Hebei and Henan. The task forces dispatched earlier continued to assist and guide flood control and typhoon control work on the frontline in Zhejiang, Fujian, and Heilongjiang.
