ChemoMetec, Roche Diagnostics Sign Deal for Combined Bioprocess Monitoring System

07:33 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ChemoMetec (CHEMM.CO) and Roche (RO.SW) unit Roche Diagnostics signed a collaboration agreement to integrate their bioprocess monitoring technologies, following a letter of intent signed in February. The deal includes the development of a connection kit between Roche's Cedex bio analyzer and ChemoMetec's Xcytomatic 30 (XM30) cell-counting analyzer, with the Swiss pharmaceutical giant to handle the kit's design, as well as verification and validation activities, according to a Monday release. The partners also agreed to jointly commercialize the combined system, but remain as exclusive sellers of their respective instruments.
