ABO Energy to Sell Hungary, Poland Units to Greek Utility Group PPC

12:32 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ABO Energy (AB9.F) agreed to sell its subsidiaries in Hungary and Poland to Greek integrated utility group PPC, according to an Aug. 7 release. The deal covers five operational solar parks with a combined capacity of 82 megawatts, a 17-megawatt solar farm near completion, a development pipeline of two gigawatts, and 38 employees across the two countries. The renewable projects developer said the transaction supports its goal of securing a sustainable restructuring and financing in the coming weeks and months.
