The domestic polysilicon market as a whole fell into a wait-and-see trend this week, and market transactions were at a standstill. There are no orders sold yet this week. The main reason is that in the context of the industry strengthening price self-regulation and maintaining orderly competition in the industrial chain, the current price is already lower than the cost of the industry, and continued decline is not conducive to the healthy development of the industry. Therefore, the company suspended quotations and waited for further clarification of the market direction. According to statistics from the Silicon Industry Branch, domestic polysilicon production was 105,900 tons in July, and silicon wafer production was 55.26 GW during the same period, and inventories increased by 0.96 million tons in the same month. By the end of July, the polysilicon industry had inventories of about 522,000 tons. Judging from the fundamentals of supply and demand, the current market supply easing pattern has not changed, corporate inventory pressure still exists, while the operating rate of the downstream silicon wafer sector remains low, and procurement demand is weak. Market transactions are difficult to effectively quantify in the short term, and the overall trading atmosphere continues to be light.
