Approved by the national anti-foreign sanctions coordination mechanism, the “Decision on Countermeasures Against US Compliance Testing Companies” has now been announced, which will take effect on August 5, 2026. Recently, the US Federal Communications Commission has intensively introduced negative measures involving China, which seriously infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises. US compliance testing companies assist and support the US Federal Communications Commission in taking measures that endanger China's sovereignty, security, and development interests. According to sections 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, and 15 of the “Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China” and the provisions of sections 3, 5, 8, and 10 of the “Provisions Implementing the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China”, the Chinese side decided to include US compliance testing companies in the countermeasure list and take the following countermeasures: organizations and individuals within China are prohibited from engaging in transactions or cooperation activities related to them.
