On August 5, Allianz Investment announced that it has reached an agreement with UOB in Singapore to acquire its asset management business, Dahua Asset Management. After the transaction is completed, Allianz Investors will manage more than 170 billion euros in customer assets in the Asia Pacific region. The transaction is worth SGD 555 million, including excess cash and the value of distribution agreements, and is expected to close in 2027 after receiving regulatory approval.
