Fresnillo's H1 Profit, Revenue Soar

Profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was $1.29 billion, compared with $393.8 million a year ago. EPS moved to $1.751 from $0.534. The precious metals miner's revenue was $3.38 billion, compared with $1.94 billion earlier. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of $0.434 per share for the period, payable on Sept. 18 to shareholders on record Aug. 14. It paid $0.208 per share a year ago.
