On August 4, Boeing published an article stating that the Boeing 737-7 has been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration. “This milestone marks that the longest flight 737MAX family member has passed strict design and testing verification, and is also a recognition of the determination and tenacity of our 737 MAX R&D team.” Boeing said, “The forensic program included more than 1,000 hours of flight and ground tests, as well as safety analysis supervised by the Federal Aviation Administration.
