Regent Pacific (00575) expects profit of about 500,000 to 1 million US dollars in the first half of the year

According to Zhitong Finance App News, Li Jing Pacific (00575) announced that the Group expects to make a profit of about 500,000 US dollars to about 1 million US dollars for the period ending June 30, 2026, compared with losses of about 2.22 million US dollars for the corresponding period up to 2025, reflecting a significant improvement.

Compared with the corresponding period, the improvement in profit during the reporting period is mainly due to the following: (a) The Group achieved a milestone net payment of US$4.5 million confirmed as revenue during the reporting period, due to the payment from Fosun Wanbang (Jiangsu) Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. after Senstend™ was approved for the marketing application of the new drug. The cash costs receivable will be collected in the second half of 2026 (corresponding period: none); (b) The Group obtained an impairment loss of approximately US$1 million in the right-to-use assets associated with the lease of its Hong Kong office in Hong Kong, China (corresponding period: none) ). All other items constituting profit for the reporting period are broadly consistent with those for the corresponding period.
