The plan proposes to fully tap the potential for complementary electricity supply and demand across watersheds and regions, strengthen regional capacity for mutual backup and temporary support in emergency situations, and raise the level of safety and resilience of power systems. Accelerate the completion and commissioning of projects in Fujian, Anhui, Lusu, Yuqian, Xiangqian, Xiangyue, etc., and plan a number of additional inter-regional DC back-to-back electricity mutual aid projects. During the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, about 40 million kilowatts of electricity were added to each other between provinces.
