On July 31, the “Improving Quality and Safeguarding the Silk Road” food industry inspection and testing capacity building and training program, which was jointly supervised and implemented by the General Administration of Market Regulation and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, came to an end in Beijing. The training program aims to thoroughly implement the joint “Belt and Road” initiative and promote international collaborative management of food safety. The training program is a core initiative for the two sides to enhance the capabilities of China's food inspection and testing institutions and deepen cooperation to jointly build trade trust in the “Belt and Road” countries.
