The Zhitong Finance App learned that Xiehe New Energy (00182) opened more than 14% higher. As of press release, it rose 14.08% to HK$0.405, with a turnover of HK$88,900.

According to the news, Kyoho New Energy announced that the US subsidiary signed three long-term power purchase and sale agreements with Tesla, involving three solar energy projects, with a total capacity of about 469 megawatts (AC side). After the full capacity of the project is put into operation, the company will supply about 1,200 gigawatt-hours of electricity to Tesla every year in the US. The first project is expected to start supplying electricity in the first half of 2027.

Notably, the company announced in April this year that the 1 gigawatt capacity data center developed by the Group has completed large-scale load grid-connection research and obtained a grid-connected license granted by the Texas Electric Reliability Commission (ERCOT). The company previously clearly mentioned that it has signed long-term power purchase and sale agreements (PPAs) for various photovoltaic projects with world-renowned companies in the US.
