Aladdin Brujedi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran's parliament, said on Sunday that out of respect for Shiite pilgrimage activities, Iran delayed responding to US and Saudi Arabia's attacks on pro-Iranian forces in Iraq. Brujedi stressed: “Our silence does not mean ignoring these crimes. Iran will definitely respond harshly after this period is over.”
