On August 1, the reporter learned from SDIC Group Yalong River Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., that about 23 million kilowatts of installed capacity at the Yalong River Basin Integrated Water and Scenery Base have been fully put into operation to guarantee electricity supply during peak summer. Currently, cascade hydropower combined operation and storage in the watershed has reached 17.77 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 950 million kilowatt-hours over the previous year, reserving sufficient water energy for the peak power supply of the power grid.
