Changes in US stocks | New heart disease drug trials did not reach the main end, Novo Nordisk (NVO.US) plummeted nearly 10%

Novo Nordisk said in a statement that although the experimental drug ziltivekimab showed certain biological effects, it did not translate into a statistically significant reduction in major adverse cardiovascular events. MACE usually includes major cardiovascular events such as cardiovascular death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, and nonfatal stroke.
