On July 31, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with Brunei Minister of Transport and Information Communications Reza, Togolese Minister of Digital Transformation Lawson, Iranian Ambassador to China Fazri, Sudanese Ambassador to China Omar, and Huang Wenjun, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Vietnamese Embassy in China, and witnessed the signing of the “Agreement on the Establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization” by these countries. On the same day, Georgian Ambassador to China Karan Dadze and Tanzanian Ambassador to China Suleiman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective governments. On July 30, Dominica's ambassador to China Charles signed the agreement on behalf of the Dominican government.
