According to Zhitong Finance App, Shangri-La (Asia) (00069) issued an announcement. It is anticipated that the Group may obtain the comprehensive profit (excluding non-operating items) (operating profit attributable) due to the Company's owners from operating business for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (relevant period), which is not less than US$87 million, an increase of no less than 70% over the profit attributable to operating profit of US$51 million in the same period last year.

The expected increase in operating profit attributable to the relevant period was partly driven by positive exchange changes of approximately US$15 million year-on-year increase. Excluding the effects of foreign exchange fluctuations, the profit attributable to operations during the relevant period will be no less than US$81 million, an increase of no less than 35% over the corresponding operating profit of US$60 million in the same period last year. This increase and increase in profit margins was mainly due to improvements in the Group's operating efficiency and increase in revenue per room (revenue per rentable room) during the relevant period. Furthermore, the Group's active implementation of treasury management also contributed to the reduction of interest expenses during the relevant period.
