Ministry of Finance: Total revenue of state-owned enterprises decreased 2.0% year on year in January-June, total profit increased 2.4% year on year

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 31, the Ministry of Finance announced the economic performance of national state-owned and state-owned enterprises (state-owned enterprises for short) from January to June 2026. From January to June, the total revenue of state-owned and state-owned enterprises across the country fell 2.0% year on year, and total profit increased 2.4% year on year. Specifically, in January-June, the total revenue of state-owned enterprises was 40242.7 billion yuan, down 2.0% year on year; total profit was 2247.58 billion yuan, up 2.4% year on year. In terms of taxes payable, in January-June, taxes payable by state-owned enterprises amounted to 3187.47 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7% over the previous year. At the end of June, the balance ratio of state-owned enterprises was 65.6%, up 0.5 percentage points from the previous year.
