Melrose Industries' H1 Attributable Profit Down; Revenue Up

02:47 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Melrose Industries (MRO.L) said Friday attributable profit for the first half declined, while revenue rose year over year. Profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was 75 million pounds sterling, compared with 285 million pounds a year earlier. EPS moved to 0.06 pound from 0.222 pound. On the other hand, adjusted profit after tax was 222 million pounds and adjusted EPS was 0.177 pound, compared with the year-ago period's 194 million pounds and 0.151 pound, respectively. The aerospace and defense company's revenue was 1.87 billion pounds, compared with 1.72 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.027 pound per share, payable on Sept. 25 to shareholders of record Aug. 14. It previously paid 0.024 pound per share. Looking ahead, the company confirmed its guidance, excluding the impact of a thermal incident at its Garden Grove facility in the US that led to the temporary closure of the site and evacuation. Group revenue is expected between 3.75 billion pounds and 3.95 billion pounds.
