UAE's e& Logs Lower H1 Profit; Revenue Up

12:19 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Emirates Telecommunications Group (ADX:EAND), d/b/a e&, said Thursday its profit for the first half dropped, while revenue grew year over year. Profit attributable to owners of the company for the six months ended June 30 was 6 billion Emirati dirhams, compared with 8.83 billion dirhams a year ago. EPS moved to 0.69 dirham from 1.01 dirhams. The Abu Dhabi-listed telecommunication company's revenue was 38.14 billion dirhams, compared with 34.18 billion dirhams earlier. Meanwhile, the board declared a first interim dividend of 0.475 dirham per share, payable starting Aug. 20 to shareholders on record Aug. 10. It paid 0.43 dirham per share a year ago. For 2026, e& continues to forecast revenue growth of 8% to 10% in constant currency, with EPS of 1.35 dirhams. The EPS guidance excludes the impact of the company's Vodafone (VOD.L) stake sale.
